Full Of Craziness

 I feel like writing a Gundam Wing AU where instead of piloting suits, they ride real flesh-and-blood dinosaurs.



Yeah, the new Transformers is probably to blame.

But most importantly: who gets a T-Rex?

I swore I would write a chapter per month(ish). I swore I would finish and post this one before I take the plane in 36 hours. IT IS DONE. I am feeling unduly proud of myself. XD

Title: Space Troopers 11/?
Rating: PG-13. Monster gore in this chapter.
Pairings: Cid/Vincent, more or less explicit Cloud/Aerith and any combination Zack, Cloud and Sephiroth. And maybe Aerith. -eeeeeeeeee OT4-
Warnings: AU, some violence, yaoi, maybe smut. AU.
Summary: Space mechanic Cid Highwind was having a wonderfully crappy day when he happened to stumble upon an old Shinra-issued cryogenic pod. His kind heart forbade him not to wake up the poor bastard. His cursing brain knew he was getting into a heap of trouble.
Notes: That's a High Jump, btw. With chocobo acrobatics thrown in because otherwise it's so simplistic. Or something. >.>

I wanted to write something and I've been in a GW mood and Space Troopers is not speaking to me, so~ Have a small oneshot drabble where little happens but I like the mood anyways. It was only a few sentences in my head but of course it ended up being more descriptive. Still short, about 950 words.

I've been poking at this general idea for a while. I like get-together fics but I usually prefer established relationships dynamics. There's more to play around with, maybe less drama! and angst! and do they love me back! but often fandom pairings can be so unlikely that beyond the first kiss-and-shag, there's a world of possibilities to explore. What do they look like, once routine (or lack thereof) sets in? I may or may not write more drabbles in that general theme with different pairings from different fandoms. Who knows what the future has in store!

I also recently realized that Space Troopers would be so easy to crossover with GW. *snerk*

And now I have to go work the night shift. Eeeeeeeeergh.

So Louis the Computer is now up and running, courtesy of the Awesome Brother who knows what he's doing. Having a well-performing machine after all this time (roughly...three years, four years? where the old one died and just wouldn't work for more than a few hours at a time...) is something of an oddity. Henri the Netbook still works well and all, but he's a Netbook with 1GB of RAM and 160GB of memory, soooooooooo. Something fast! How I missed thee. 

I've been trying to go back to my old fandom haunts, which I'd abandoned in favor of less slow-internet-computer dependent hobbies. It's hard! So many of them have stopped speaking to me! D: SPN being a notable example, and even FFVII (although that one's pretty much always been on-and-off). I want to start iconing again now that Photoshop will actually run, but icon what??

Considering all that, recs would be awesome. For communities, fanfics, fanarts, whatever. My current fandoms are FFVII through FFXII (discounting the MMORPGs), Zelda, the new BBC Sherlock Holmes, the Avengers (movie-verse but I'm not picky), FMA, D. Gray-Man and even the odd Dragon Ball or YuYu Hakusho thrown in the mix. And I guess the Big Bang Theory humor stuff would be great too!

(TV shows, when and how did you sneak up in my fandom list? It used to be so exclusively...japanese. XD Not complaining, mind.)
